Tough Assignments & No One To Help?

What is the difference between graduates and postgraduates?

Graduation and post graduation are two different yet interrelated, levels of education in a person's life. After completing school, the first thing a student consider is getting an academic degree, which is also known as graduation. A graduation degree refers to the bachelor's degree or an equivalent associate degree.

Pupils pursue a graduation degree for three years or four years, depending on the course syllabus. There are various graduate degree courses provided by universities, such as - B.Tech (Bachelor's in Technology), BBA(Bachelor's in Business Administration), B.Arch (Bachelor's in Architecture), BCA (Bachelor's in Computer Applications) and BJMC (Bachelor's in Journalism and Mass Communication).

Post graduation is a certain type of diploma, which can only be done after a relevant a bachelor's degree. It is mostly a one year course or sometimes two years too during which they are assigned relevant assignments too. When somebody wants to major in a specific field and wishes to attain more skills regarding it, they choose to do post graduation.

Post graduation helps the students to get higher salaried jobs too, an employer often choose a candidate with post graduation rather than just graduated student. There are many post graduation diplomas for students to choose, like - diploma in engineering, marketing, journalism, nursing, sociology, language and business administration etc.

Mostly after doing graduation, students only get entry level or low level jobs, as there is more demand of the student who have done graduation and post graduation both, rather than just bachelor's.
